Re: The Fast Food Junkie Thread

Brio Italian Grille (acquired last year by the same group that owns Buca) is now in on the action locally, and probably nationally. Guy Fieri's Flavortown Kitchen just showed up here, and the menu is...

Re: Snowmaggedon 2021

The Cincinnati area was projected to get between 2" and 4" last week, and got between 8" and 10" instead.

We were projected to get between 5" and 8" overnight, and got 1" (so far).

Re: Last Movie You Watched Thread

Johnny Mnemonic (1995) on Hulu, which I somehow missed seeing theatrically back in my moviegoing prime college years. Very much a product of its time, with some very questionable casting decisions...

Re: The Fast Food Junkie Thread

This seems to be a common Yelp complaint with this venture in particular, but it's a problem with delivering just about every type of hot food that isn't pizza. Unfortunately, delivery and carryout...

Re: Last Movie You Watched Thread

Lifeforce (1985) on Amazon Prime. I was too young to see this theatrically, and somehow never caught it on cable or home video, but I was vaguely aware that it was a science fiction movie with a nude...

Re: Is Brady The GOAT? If So, What Makes Him The GOAT?

Shula would like a word. Belichick already has an asterisk next to his name, and always will.

Re: The Fast Food Junkie Thread

Thanks to my kid's YouTube addiction and a DoorDash gift card, we tried MrBeast Burger (https://mrbeastburger.com) the other night. It's a new-ish "virtual restaurant" venture by YouTuber MrBeast...

Re: DVDTalk 2020 NFL Playoff Survivor Pool (18th Annual)

It would have been Jeff. There must be a typo in kenbuzz's more recent post, as the second post in the thread contains the following:

Re: Christopher Plummer dead at 91

Re: Last Movie You Watched Thread

Willow (1998) on Disney+, as I continue to revisit some of my “childhood” films with my son who is now around the same age I was. Good God, did I forget what a colossal piece of shit this was and is,...

Re: The Official "Great Beer" thread. Part 2; Same great taste but this time more hops!

I hear you. A buddy of mine would occasionally bring J. Wakefield stouts to bottle shares. I knew they were pricey, but didn't know just how pricey until he sent me a price list the last time he was...

Re: The Official "Great Beer" thread. Part 2; Same great taste but this time more hops!

Re: The Official "Great Beer" thread. Part 2; Same great taste but this time more hops!

It ultimately didn't matter since they stopped shipping to Ohio for tax reasons, but I looked into it a while back and thought their markups were obscene in many instances, though I do travel enough...

Re: Movies with such glaring holes they ruin everything else

It doesn’t exactly ruin the movie since it’s at the end of the movie, but Grosse Pointe Blank’s “happy ending” has always pissed me off. I still enjoy the movie as a whole.

He doesn’t fulfill the...
