Re: COVID-19 POLITICAL Thread

Yup, that why millions will lose coverage. Many can only carry it now due to subsidies. No subsidies and they can’t pay which means policies will lapse.

Then for those that can afford to keep,...

Re: COVID-19 POLITICAL Thread

I just can’t understate how openly and blatantly cruel this is.

Think the ACA is good. Think it is bad. Think it “whatever” now is not the time to be jacking with insurance.

With the ACA “gone”...

Re: Official Trump Presidency Thread, Part 3

What exactly is he saying? That because she is part of a group that has been discriminated against, she can’t put forth a bill to protect others that are being discriminated against?

Re: COVID-19 POLITICAL Thread

Ok.

It very well may have been state or even city dependent. So thank you.

In Dallas we had a similar “lockdown” as you. However (without making light of those that lost jobs or unable to...

Re: Health Care discussion continues - part 9

This is all about just being being opposite of the “libs”.

Conservatives should support and even drool over a single payer like M4A. Why? No more “freeloaders” yes, in a single payer everyone is...

Re: Official Trump Presidency Thread, Part 3

Was about to post same thing. Not joking at all. These protests are in parts because we have a systemic issue with race in law enforcement.

Re: COVID-19 POLITICAL Thread

Of course....it’s why we have vaccines for certain, but not all issues. It’s why there has been a shift in use of antibiotics.

Re: COVID-19 POLITICAL Thread

There was never a “complete” lockdown and no real talk of having one.

If your saying “we shouldn’t have a complete lockdown”, ok? I guess? Since no one in power is talking about that for the USA....

Re: Health Care discussion continues - part 9

I tend to agree with you. And I’ll repeat my reasoning. I do believe that CIGNA, BCBS, Aetna and other could offer a fair, competitive product and sell it at a reasonable cost. They could. But there...

Re: COVID-19 POLITICAL Thread

I would “somewhat”. Dispute that.

But to me it’s a moot point since spread rate is so high. The higher the spread rate the more likely it will find someone that has sever reactions or even death.

Re: COVID-19 POLITICAL Thread

2.5million infected and abs 125,000 deaths. In the USA.

Please note the number that you think we should take action? Or more action? Or it’s not an over-reaction.

And we are not remotely done

Re: COVID-19 POLITICAL Thread

So, again, to clarify...you saying old people and the poor dying don’t matter and everyone else should just move on?

Why tell people to “look it up”? When I responded to a post by you by “looking...

Thank you for actually looking at facts. I did not know what their Specific system is. However, every developed country sans USA has a “universal” or “single payer” of some variant. U surprised their...

Re: COVID-19 POLITICAL Thread

Yea. I’m getting tired of “only the old are dying” crowd. Seriously? WTF? How is that a thing? For one it’s not true. And another “they don’t count”.

Re: Official Trump Presidency Thread, Part 3

Well, I’m pretty sure the GOP wants to strike down the ACA so they can push for a single payer system. I’m almost positive that’s why.

Re: Have you had travel plans affected by COVID-19?
