Re: The One and Only 2020 Downballot Races Thread

I'm looking at the New York Times live feed, and they show the Dems leading with 90% reporting. Who's right?

Re: Question about possible poster restoration

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I agree that restoring it would far surpass the cost of the poster itself, and the value I've been able to determine thus far just doesn't make sense to do all that....

Re: Question about possible poster restoration

Well, here's what I did. I scanned the poster with a scanning app on my phone, adjusted the corners as exactly as I could, then opened it in the Photoshop Express app, and simply turned up the whites...

Re: Question about possible poster restoration

Yeah, I saw that one. Someone else is selling the same thing for a little over $50, so is one overpriced or is one underpriced? Just like anything, it's probably going to turn out to be one of those...

Re: Question about possible poster restoration

I couldn't readily find any indication of value for the poster online, although I did find a couple examples of what people are asking for it (which I understand doesn't exactly equate to actual...

Question about possible poster restoration

I found what appears to be a vintage Superman poster from 1966, according to the print at the bottom, at Goodwill recently. It appears it's been in an old, clear plastic frame for quite some time, as...

Re: Fatman (D: Nelms Brothers) S: Walton Goggins, Mel Gibson

Says you.

I actually found the film enjoyable and an interesting take on Santa Claus. They didn't try to create this whole big alternate lore or anything, you're just introduced to the character...

Re: The Official METAL! Thread- Metalcore, Thrash, Progressive, Death, and MORE

I've never been exposed to this kind of music much over the years, and what I did hear from time to time never really struck a chord with me. I found a CD at Goodwill recently by a band called...

Re: Anybody ever had a paranormal encounter?

From what I recall reading in these comments, I don't believe anyone has said categorically that what they experienced was ghosts, myself included. We all definitely experienced "something", and I...

Re: Anybody ever had a paranormal encounter?

Back in the 1950s, a young high school librarian was killed by her estranged boyfriend in the school where she worked, when he came to the school in an attempt to get her to not break up with him....
