Re: Rob Liefeld - Worst comic book artist ever?

Looks like a good fit for the old Extreme. The arms and legs are out of proportion. The ax is the size of the man. And he is doing the Liefeld pouch thing with the 4 sheaths around the waist which...

Re: Rob Liefeld - Worst comic book artist ever?

He did a bit but it wasn't that noticeable. It reminded me of a kid hopped on on sugar excitedly trying to tell his mom something and she is saying slow down Rob I can't understand you. So he was...

Re: Rob Liefeld - Worst comic book artist ever?

Did anyone listen to the podcast. I tried the first episode hoping it would be epic rants and grievances, but it was very boring. It was just about his love of comics as a kid. Not interesting and...

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

If you are going to keep buying then keep the unlimited. It is fairly cheap and the extra discount you get with sales makes it free for me every month.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Ok I give. I see everyone's point. I personally hate having so much clutter in files. I forget what is good and not so good so I only take the freebies I think I would enjoy. And your right...

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

There's not a problem. I was just curious why everyone was snapping up hundreds of a kid's comics that they probably won't ever read. I cite Trevor since he has mentioned that he already has enough...

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Can I ask why everyone is grabbing hundreds of Scooby Doo titles? Are you really going to read them or is it just because they are free? If they were paper copies I would take them and give them...

Re: Coronavirus: An "Extinction Level Event" for the Direct Market

They will be printed in the last trade paperbacks for each series. It's not great for anyone who collects individual issues, but it will see print.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I remember when Dark Horse was a solid number three publisher behind the big 2. I think the Star Wars license helped a lot.

Re: Coronavirus: An "Extinction Level Event" for the Direct Market

The physical stores don't want digital to take off and they force the publishers to keep the prices artificially high this hurting the digital market and not allowing it to expand as it should. The...

Re: Coronavirus: An "Extinction Level Event" for the Direct Market

The stores bitch about any kind of discount for digital new releases, but DCBS is giving you 30% off new releases most of the time. So how does a discount on a digital copy that doesn't serve the...

Re: Coronavirus: An "Extinction Level Event" for the Direct Market

A lot of the stores are always on the edge of extinction. Not all landlords are so nice to say forget about this month's rent. So 3 weeks of no income and with the possibility of this lasting a lot...

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Without any new comics out this week I am surprised the publishers didn't dump of a bunch of new stuff in Unlimited for the housebound people to read. Or maybe run some nice mega sales.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Thanks. I don't need the code since I will end up getting what I want for 89 cents in the future. I was just annoyed that again I did not receive a coupon that other CU members have gotten.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Line wide sale on Avatar. Not really everyone's cup of tea, but I do have a fondness for Uber since I am a fan of alternate history. Does anyone know if Avatar/Boundless is still publishing...

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

If you have Unlimited the Image sale is 60% off. I also noticed that Image now seems to be putting all their new titles first issues on Unlimited after about a month. A great way to try and maybe...

Well everyone is in luck. Rob is planning on putting out a new Prophet book. He is calling it issue 50 even though the series ended with issue 45. But if you waited for him to do the actual 5...
