Re: Hamilton (2020) -- live production with the original Broadway cast

Re: Hamilton (2020) -- live production with the original Broadway cast

Saw this in Chicago when I happened to be staying in a hotel near the theater on a business trip. Looking forward to seeing the original cast and plan it to be a family viewing this weekend.

Re: "Mallrats" BD somewhat disappointing

Well, some people see a sailboat and others just see a mess of dots.:D

Re: What's Up With all the Fireworks??

Well, live in unincorporated Snohomish Country, north of Seattle. Next year, the fireworks are illegal to sell in this area but there's still "Boom Town" up farther north on the Indian reservations....

Re: Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy vs. Nolan's Batman trilogy

I realize in the minority but while I enjoyed Batman Beyond, found Dark Knight Returns and then finishing with Rises a Trilogy that went down from the first one. While Spidey 3 was a downturn, Spidey...

Re: Gone With the Wind DVD/Blu-ray Price Jump

Well, that's assuming you actually watch the movie and can pick up on the social commentary rather than many of the internet experts out there.

Re: Gone With the Wind DVD/Blu-ray Price Jump

Put up my big red box set (70th) up and sold BIN within a day. Couldn't get $20 for it a couple months ago.

Re: The Jesus Rolls (2020, D: John Turturro) -- The Big Lebowski spinoff -- S: Turturro, Cannavale, Tauto

Had this in my queue and watched the blu-ray yesterday. At first I didn't recognize it was Tatou but found her to be essentially one of the only redeeming things of the movie.

Re: AMC might not survive

AMC was my local go to. They did a nice remodel with the reclining seats and reservation system. Being a premier "VIP" has more than paid for itself. Would be sorry to see it go.

Re: The Killing of George Floyd Thread

Looks like "Do as we say festival" founded by German settlers in 1946 is continuing..............
