Re: Why do you hate/dislike CBS sitcoms?

That actually is how it's done. Most sitcoms since "Seinfeld" at least pre-tape some scenes -- anything outdoors, and scenes that wouldn't work in front of the audience for some reason -- and play it...

Re: Whatever happened to sitcom Laugh Tracks

Re: CBS comedy shows and laugh tracks - how passť

Re: 30 Rock -- Live Episode for East/West -- "Live Show" -- 10/14/10

Since they're using a live audience for the first time, I wonder how many people online will complain about the "laugh track."

(Maybe not many people - for some reason there are more complaints...

Re: CBS comedy shows and laugh tracks - how passť

Actually, single-camera sitcoms pre-date live-audience filmed sitcoms. It's just that all the single-camera sitcoms had laugh tracks up through the '70s (when they were much more popular than most of...

I looked at a copy and all the episodes run between 24 and 25 minutes. They're uncut.

It's amazing to me that in 1987 the major networks were still doing shows with only five minutes of...
