The elementary school I attended back in the early 1980's had hardcover editions of all the Choose Your Own Adventure books. I never found any hardcovers being sold in bookstores, just paperback...

I read 'The Stake' last fall and found it to be highly enjoyable for a supernatural thriller/mystery. Most Laymon fans consider that book a bit tame compared to his other works.

Saints and Chiefs would've made an interesting Super Bowl. The LA Rams don't have much of a fan base and most NFL fans have developed Patriots Fatigue. I'm thinking the ratings won't be that high.
