No it's standalone so you can play it without knowledge of the other games.

It's good just not as good as the rest of the series. Because it had the nerve to talk about immigrants and illegal immigration when Trump had been getting people riled up over those issues it had...

I enjoyed it but no where near as much as the main game. It also dragged on quite a bit longer then I had expected.

Just wrapped it up. Easily my favorite of the series so far and my favorite lead. Not having it episodic was a really smart move on their part.
