IST doesn't do pre-orders. Wednesday releases show up for purchase on Tuesday afternoons. I don't know if there's a set time, but they should most likely be up for purchase by Tuesday night for sure....

This would probably be the ideal collector format for the series, but like you said, they're pricey and have been out of print for many years now.
