As someone who has a Spotify Premium account I still buy a lot of CDs (I refuse to pay for a bunch of digital files). It's disappointing but not at all surprising to see. Naturally sales will go down...

Agreed. The introduction of 4K has definitely sped up the process of killing off physical media because of this reason.

Since 4K is such a niche format, studios should've never put out discs for...

Exactly. I don't like that everything is going digital, but the reality of it is, digital is the future. If I'm going to be spending around $15 - $20 for the movie anyway, I'd like to buy the film on...

I feel like I've seen this a lot in TV shows as well, mostly shows from before the 2000s. So many shows over the years have suffered from music replacement issues and unfortunately those issues are...

Obviously streaming has a huge impact on these declining numbers, but does anyone else think brick and mortar stores have to do with it too? Stores like Best Buy and Target are constantly downsizing...
