Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

Okay, my list is complete now. It's not pretty, but it's there and chalk-full of tasty stats. Anyway looking forward to the wrap-up! But sad to be done so soon. Might need to revive that horror...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

So just to be clear we have today (the 7th) to complete our lists? I've had some internet and computer issues this month so haven't been able to finish mine.

I made the club a year ago I...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

I had a blast this year! Despite a new job I beat last year's numbers with 105. I only wished I would have had more time to get on here and discuss more regularly. But I had a lot of fun reading...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

Just a quick word on Stephanie (maybe not entirely a spoiler but I'll play it safe and be vague):

Throughout the movie little things were bothering me like why the windows weren't barred on the...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

For the last 5 or 6 challenges I believe I did 100% theme days. But this year I wanted flexibility so planned to stick to one theme movie a day and then watch whatever else. This kind of backfired...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

It is Rue Morgue you acquired the complete collection of, correct? Do you store yours in a particular way or just box them up? Really not that many choices I guess. I need to find an indoor...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

I love Torture Garden. It's a gem of an Amicus film. I still just have the DVD from 2005, didn't know there were multiple cuts. If it helps my DVD is 100 minutes in length, and it's the only...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

This is outstanding! Thanks for posting. I didn't know magazines were on archive.org, but I never looked before either. I love how the layout of the page turning is.

Also thanks again to...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

I've been catching up on Netflix originals (whether done by direct contract or distro deal) and I've been having a blast with them. The Babysitter has been talked about a lot I'm sure, but wasn't...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

I don't know what I'm more disappointed in myself with, my inability to juggle a new job and comment regularly here in the discussion, or my aging incompetence regarding technology. It wasn't until...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

Congrats, brother!! I recently accepted a dream job offer that just sort of fell into my lap. I moved to IL only two months ago and it's been quite the whirlwind. My viewings haven't been as...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

This was the hardest banner for me for some reason. It's like my brain was on overkill or something. I had to submit some extra titles just in case I was off on some.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

I watched Mother! for today's theme and I gotta say it absolutely blew me away. Quite possibly the best start-to-finish demo for an Atmos set-up. In fact it relies so heavily on Atmos I'm not sure...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

I know I've been absent a lot for discussion in this challenge (and most the building portion), but why is Dr. Cyclops, a Paramount picture, the subset on Universal Monsters day? I'm sure I'm just...

I haven't seen it either, looking forward to it this year. Hopefully can fit it in.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

As long as the movie is exploitative in it's ripping off the Jaws idea, so most likely yes. IMO I would count Sharknado (obviously) and the more knowingly rip-off Jawsploitation classics like Orca...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

It's something like $9 on Amazon. Well worth the money to be festive!

That sucks. Ever since I moved to my new house I've been dreaming about my Aussie we had to put down a couple years ago....

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

Loved starting off the night with Dressed to Kill. Although I'm surprised a thriller was the choice, it definitely made for some memorable horror moments. Really glad I hadn't seen it before as I...

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 14th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/

I just moved to IL from NC and decided to keep my Dish service "on hold" while I try out YouTube TV, Philo, etc. My biggest complaint is the sound. I'm now going back to Dish just so I can have 5.1...
