Nintendo's focus is always Japan first and that market. Who still prize physical media for various reasons.

First party Nintendo titles starring their prime characters really don't hit sales all that often. Definitely a good game if you get into the online play.

Mario Tennis Aces is a lot of fun in doubles mode with a partner. You can still find many people willing to play it competitively online.

The Mario Tennis game has seen new life with the most recent update. The makers will supposedly support it through June.
