re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

I use a 1TB WD My Passport Ultra USB 3.0 5400RPM and it seems quick enough for anything I have running off of it. I leave it plugged in and sitting on top of the X1, no problems.

According to one story I read you have to buy one of the 5 DLC packs in order to post scores to the leaderboards, play local MP, etc.

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

Still hard for me to get past the whole $60 & then $15 a month thing. I'm not sure just yet.

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

Would love 3D Blu-ray playback, but I'm sure its not the most important feature on their list. Oh well.

Forza 5 = First "Games with Gold" free title for X1.

Prediction made, mark it! lol.

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

If it uses the same wireless connection that your controller does, then I'd say it would. Then again, MS hasn't released any actual details beyond it being $24.99 and its coming out for sure, lol.

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

I should clarify. It seems the remote will work with the One just like your controller does, but if you want to use it to control your TV, etc. as well then you need the Kinect hooked up as it uses...

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

It's IR and requires the Kinect. Who the hell thought that was a good idea? What about the folks that have chosen to disconnect their Kinect?

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

Lol, mine is pretty much a $500 Netflix/Amazon/Blu-Ray machine.

The Wii U has been getting heavy play lately.

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

For there only being between 500k & a million people owning X1's, I've had zero issues finding 100% full 64 person games in BF4. I think Titanfall will be just fine come launch.

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

The sniper rifles actually take a little skill in BF4. From my limited experience with them, you have to adjust for distance due to bullet drop, etc.

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

Seems like that dude spewing yield issues before launch on NeoGaf was just a bit wrong. MS has done a good job of keeping the things in stock, which is good for them I'd assume.

Sony seems to...

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

It doesn't work 90% of the time. You get the "Party Chat is not available at this time" message. It's extremely unreliable.

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

3D playback and Party Chat system fixes PLEASE!

Me and the few I play with have to use Skype on the X1 as a work around for Party chat.

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

I guess I'll have to jump on board and beat Music's BS scores as well. Push that bitch as far down the leader boards as possible!

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

Really unhappy with the party chat system so far. Rarely am I able to get it to work.

I don't understand how they managed to fuck up a system they had working so well for so long with the 360.

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

Nope, a QR code on a slip inside the box. You just hold it up to your kinect and it registers it.

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

Seems even though you start a party, you aren't by default IN the party. Once you invite, you have to turn Party Chat on and then you are a go. It's just a different setup than the 360 and it was...

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

Apparently its just folks not knowing how to use the new system. Plenty of posts on GAF of people successfully doing it.

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

So some folks are saying that cross game party chat isn't available. Can anyone that has their hands on the system confirm or deny? Seems odd and more like they just haven't figured out how to do...
