Awesome :up: More time to tell myself I'll finish the Shenmue 1 & 2 remasters (which I bought today) before Shenmue 3 comes out.

Yeah, I just watched that bit again. His wording was very deliberate. Lawyers must have told him to emphasize that or something.

Surprise, Sony confirmed that yes they are financially supporting the game.Kickstarter was mainly to gauge interest, as suspected. I don't have a link handy, sorry.

Yeah, I'd pay $10 each, even for crappy ported digital-only versions. Just an easy way to play them and get familiar with the game/story.

There's still no legitimate way to play 1 & 2, right? I mean, other than finding a Dreamcast or Xbox and copies of the games?
