Thanks guys, and thanks for the links. I was hoping for Best Buy since it'd only be $32 with GCU. Amazon offers it for the same price (with Prime only), but no delivery date.

Managed to pick up an official PS VR retail bundle at GameStop (not their "bundle" of individual items). I wasn't going to buy it but... they had it... so... :D

Set it up pretty quickly last...

I can answer that one! Yes, any PS4 will work. My understanding is just that games (VR or otherwise) are meant to play better on the PS4 pro, but they will still work on the original PS4 consoles.

That's correct.

I was at Walmart yesterday (I'm not proud of it), and I thought I saw a PSVR box. Turned out it wasn't one, but for that split second, I thought I was totally going to buy it.

I can agree with that. I just think the whole movie theatre thing is kind of a bad idea. If the Rift is using 1080p screens, and you're in a "virtual" theatre, watching something, then the resolution...

Looks pretty awesome. I kind of want to order it, but I'll wait until the commercial release. The Dev Kit's screen quality is apparently not as good.
