Well, isn't it just a tad bit pretentious? I enjoy the games, for the most part, but some of the story in it and many other games just goes a bit far.

Uh, no but thanks for assuming. I'm the kind of person that just thinks about other things when exposition goes on for far too long or becomes pretentious.

To have fun, see the cool places they create for us to go to while using the spectacular weaponry and attacks in battle. I don't mind cut scenes, but I don't want to spend several minutes watching...

If I really want a long, drawn out story, I will read a book or watch a mini series.

Sometimes when the story gets to be a bit too much, I just start skipping them anyways. I want to play a damn game and not watch a movie.
