I did the same thing. The repetition really got to me eventually. I spent so much time doing side quests that I hardly touched the main story missions, so I doubt I was even 1/3 the way through the...

Climb to the very top of the statue and you'll get a prompt (R1 on PS4 I think).

from what I remember you'll meet an orc who will kind of become a friend and explain the ins and outs of it along the way. It's integrated into the main story/questline.

I was planning on avoiding this game because I'd heard it was more of the same, and I don't have the warm fuzzies thinking about the first game. It was okay but it didn't blow me away.

I think it's more of a publisher (WB) thing than a developer issue. I'd bet the developer would love to distance themselves from this bullshit ASAP.

It looks like a lot more of the same with a few new elements/systems. Honestly, with the new AC coming out in a few weeks, if I were going to get one of these, it'd be that one. But I'm getting...
