It's pretty simple. TRU has it where there is a 6 hr delay before you can use your discount towards the next purchase.

I wound up not bothering to go back to the store to use the $20 coupon.

Did as you did. Had same experience you did, except override guy says they normally have to look it up themselves. I used my $15 RZ cert and was out he door for $27 and change.

i called them up and you can still preorder it until Sunday, the day it comes out. i stopped by the store today and paid $5 to preorder it. $25 gift card for a $50 game isn't so bad. i can use it...
