Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

that's pretty confusing with the SNES Classic being available also, but I guess it's good that it won't be in stores.

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

Yeah, the 3DS is definitely on the downtrend, but the biggest selling game on the system hasn't been released yet. I'm sure Pokemon Sun & Moon will outsell any previous 3DS game released. Pokemon...

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

Are the 3DS SNES ports different than the Wii/WiiU ports? I mean if I buy the New 3DS, will I have access to all of the SNES Virtual Console games that I've bought already? Hmm, saying it out...

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

The regular Gameboy did not play many of the Gameboy color games though, since the Color had a faster chip and much more RAM

The DSi was my biggest regret along with the Micro. Neither of those...

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

It does not look like digital versions are included in the sale unfortunately. Also, it is not letting me buy two copies of the same game. I was hoping to maximize the discounts a little better.

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

It looks like Best Buy also offers the 3DS games as a digital download. I hope those will work with the B1G1 promotion .

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

I loved them both. If you are a fan of Super Mario Bros, you can't go wrong with either of them.

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

Wow, nice. I'll definitely check it out. Maybe I'll upgrade my SD card before I do this. I have the 4GB card that came with my XL. Instructions seem easy enough:...

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

I own 3 of them on cartridge, and would love to switch over to digital with my stash of 20% off eShop cards, but I'll lose my progress on the games.

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

I went to my local Target just before they opened and there must have been two to three hundred people in line. The parking lot was almost full. Still, as I got in, there was a sales guy with four...

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

I just picked up Bit Trip Saga for $4.99 and Zero's Escape: Virtue's Last Reward for $24.99 in the 3DS e-shop. Zero's Escape sale ends soon.

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

I did the free Xevious 3D download just now. Registered a few games, and selected Xevious, and it generated a code to enter. Piece of cake. Much better than the previous promotions with the coins....

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

Perhaps this has a battery pack built in? That would explain the bulkiness. Extra analog stick, perhaps another 5 to 10 hours of battery life, would make this a desirable add-on.

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

I've been playing my 3DS a lot the past few weeks, and (unfortunately) I find that I prefer to leave the 3D off. I've only played Pilotwings and Monkey Ball, but while the 3D effects are cool, I...

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

:( I've preordered it. I still remember how wow'd I was back when the SNES version came out with the fancy mode 7 effect. A 3D version sounded like a great opportunity for this new system.

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

Yeah, 3 hours is pretty bad. I remember when the first PSP came out, it was around 4 hours, and felt almost unusable at the time compared to the SP which was getting close to 20 hours. But...

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS (tentative name), 3D DS w/o Glasses!

I'm starting to look forward to getting the 3DS. I just need to show some restraint and not pick up too many filler games while waiting for the bigger titles like Mario Kart and Zelda. I'll...

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS (tentative name), 3D DS w/o Glasses!

I think we can all agree that $199 would have been better than $249, as you mention, just doubling the resolution of the DS screens or upping the processor speed isn't the deal breaker. But what 3D...

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS (tentative name), 3D DS w/o Glasses!

If you were wanting a DSi XL, Amazon had them regularly on sale for $139.99 between Thanksgiving and Christmas. To me, the XL was a bad idea, mostly because they announced the 3DS before the DSi XL...
