Re: Wal-Mart Bargains Thread #2

Seconded. It's a great little monster movie with protagonists who aren't complete idiots, for a change.

Re: Wal-Mart Bargains Thread #2

Amazon seems to be price-matching these sets at $10.99. It's a buck more than Walmart, but with tax, gas, etc. it still works out.

Re: Wal-Mart Bargains Thread #2

For anyone still interested, FYE brick and mortars are carrying TCG releases. I picked up the Goldfoot double feature at their Chicago Loop location for $6.99. It was in the "Classic Comedy"...

Re: Wal-Mart Bargains Thread #2

Has anyone ordered and received a copy of Goldfoot from Oldies? The Sept. 25th release date has come and gone, and Amazon still lists the title as coming soon. I've given up on ever finding...

Re: Wal-Mart Bargains Thread #2

Oldies gives a release date of 9/25/12, which is good news. Thanks!

Re: Wal-Mart Bargains Thread #2

Yup. However, I am little worried that there's no release date listed. The set is also on DVD Planet and Deep Discount, but noted as currently unavailable.

Re: Wal-Mart Bargains Thread #2

I was lucky enough to find the Blood Diner and CHUD II collections sitting on top of the bin at the second WalMart I hit. Also grabbed a double feature of Lone Wolf McQuade/Code of Silence and a...

Re: Wal-Mart Bargains Thread #2

As far as I know, this would be the first R1 release of Blood Diner. The flick is an old favorite of mine - caught it as a midnight show at the Music Box Theater back in the 80's and would love to...

Re: Wal-Mart Bargains Thread #2

This is pretty much what it's going to take for the format to wipe out DVD entirely.

I have a PS3 but no HD TV. I've got three DVD players, not counting laptops. While I am buying some new...

Re: Wal-Mart Bargains Thread #2

Thanks! I ask because my nearest WalMart is a chaotic mess that never has anything good, and I wanted to see if the prize was worth it before I took a likely fruitless dumpster dive.

As it turns...

Re: Wal-Mart Bargains Thread #2

Does anyone know if the Navy Seals/Red Dawn double feature is widescreen or fullscreen? Does anyone know why I bother to ask, since it's dumbass WalMart?

As far as I've been able to ascertain, if...

Re: Wal-Mart Bargains Thread #2

You know, I would so friggin' pounce on those Santo double features if English subs were included. Maybe even a couple of El Chapulin Colorado discs for old times sake.
