This. He's simply not talented enough a writer to handle what he's created. The quicker he accepts this and hands book 7 off to another writer the better off we will be.

That's a colossal disappointment even though we all knew it would happen. What a moron. I'm shocked his publisher hasn't lynched him. Maybe if he didn't spend so much time eating and on side projects...

I think it will be. I mean two major battles got pulled from ADWD so I have a feeling that the tone and pacing of the next book will be alot like ASWS.

I don't mind if the book count grows. But my greatest fear is still that George will die before finishing the saga.

Its hard to say whats taking so long. I think that like Tolkien he's fallen in love with his world and is having trouble editing himself when it comes down to it. Although I will say, that ADWD was...

George has stated that he already knows how the series will end and all the major plot points for the characters. Its been stated in several interviews that he has given these to the TV producers in...

Just caught up with the series. Not sure what the dislike for Feast is about....I really liked that one. But I think Storm is my fav so far.
