Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

Ugh... ok, appreciate the input. Not sure why they're so expensive... seems like a scam to me.

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

He needs them for the latest Mario Party... so the Pro Controller will work? I've seen that for $45 or so.

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

My son needs another set or two of the controllers "Joy con"? Those things aren't cheap ($76 on Amazon)... is there another, cost friendly solution?

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

Will any micro SD card do or do I need some proprietary Nintendo enhanced version?

Would you guys recommend a charging station for the Joy Con?

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

Thank you very much! Was just about to post that I haven't found one yet... when I saw your post.

So what other key / essential pieces do I need to get?

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

Nope... had a meeting at 1pm and missed it entirely. At this point I'm resigned to just getting one when they're fully ramped up in production.

I do appreciate you trying to help tho.

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

I still can't find a Switch... if it weren't for my promise to get my son this system, I'd never buy Nintendo again. They fumble every single hardware release.

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

Yeah, I really don't want that package... but I might do it if there's nothing popping up at Best Buy or Target in the next few weeks.

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

Any ideas where I can find a Switch? You guys seeing it anywhere? I wanted to pick this up for my son's birthday (actually I already committed I would... since his birthday was last Thursday).

re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

I wanted to crap all over another weak Nintendo release... but this looks pretty slick. I won't buy on Day 1... but eventually. Chalk me up as someone who won't play portable or tablet games that...
