Of course it can, especially if everything is built from scratch. Probably not so much with a game like this using an existing engine like Unreal though.

:up: That's why I mentioned UT and Quake felt ahead of their time back then, given how multiplayer gaming has soared. Both seemed to take a risky approach making online only shooters before it...

Agreed, although I think TF2 was still slower paced compared to Quake/UT and not particularly 'twitchy' to me by my high standards :p. Regardless, it's why I completely disagree with your 2...

I was always more of a Quake fan, but I played a bit of the original Unreal Tournament and a bit of 2004 and they were always pretty fun.

I always wondered if this would make a comeback,...
