The only thing that happens if there are people around that catch you stealing, you will get a bounty and the citizens might try to fight you.

There's an armor set later on that will resurrect you with full health if you die. I have that equipped and I upgrade it, but it costs a lot of drachmae and materials.

There are also special bows and engravings that you can get that turn all arrows into poison and fire arrows without having to craft them. You might not be that far into the game for those to start...

I'm now 50 hours in and close to 50% complete. I just started episode 7. I also just fought the legendary lion and he was pretty tough. It took me a little bit to figure out how to dodge his attacks....

I don't know how to got around it. Everything I read said you had to pay it. If you couldn't pay it, you had to do all those support quests to earn it....

I played for an hour today and got a message that a new Seven Samurai style quest was available. It said go to your quest board to find it. I went to the quest board in Phokis, but it wasn't listed....
