I learned to read and comprehend English through comics combined with Sesame Street and Electric Company. Plus, Stan use to always use big words I never knew the meaning to and had to look them up in...

I have every issue of TTs but I don't recall that storyline. I never collected Batman/Outsiders so this is new to me. I need to get that issue.

I ordered that in the mail when it was released. I never read it beforehand. A few weeks later I found all the issues at one of my LCS for 35c each. Back then they would just stack the back issues...

I have quite a few of those. Those reprints were awesome. When I started collecting, DC had just come out with the 100 pagers for 50c.

Nice. There's just something about coverart from the mid 60's and early 70's that makes you really want to look at them. Blows away anything produced today.

The layout is simply horrible. Why is Magneto NOT facing the X-Men? Doesn't make any sense. The original version's layout is way better.

On an ep. of Comic Book Men; Adams said he hated that cover because he drew the legs incorrectly.

My favorite is Adams' homage to Detective 31.
