I did the install this morning. It turns out my green wire connector needed to be squeezed tighter. It brought back the right channel, and the low hum I was tolerating disappeared. I debated sticking...

I do think it's bent. I ordered the Ortofon, like you recommended. I'll give it a spin this weekend.

My Dual 604 doesn’t allow azimuth adjustment - something likely contributing to my Sure problem (left channel more prominent than right channel).

I just checked to make sure it was that Sure. It is.

thanks for the quick response. I did google all of those things. I lost 3 hours of my life LOL.
I have the Sam Sure cartridge. Not cheap. I was really hoping it was something else.

I could use some advice. I have a Dual 604 with a Sure stylus. I hadn’t used it in a few years, but decided to add it to my office. After setting it up I notice the left channel is quite a bit louder...
