I would use a randomizer on some shows I've watched a lot, like The Simpsons, Seinfeld and Parks & Rec. I don't know if I would want random movies though.

I tried this with my favorite show, Mystery Science Theater 3000. The first Netflix season trailer got about 700,000 views. It took them about 7 months to renew it.

Season 2's trailer was viewed...

Hmm, will I have to buy a copy of Moana for my kids, or will something else have caught their interest by then? There was a cliff-like drop in their interest in Frozen once they could watch Moana...
