I'm actually surprised it come out on Blu-ray because it appears the animation was not drawn specifically for Blu-ray from what I've seen of the Region 2 DVD releases.

I can't wait for the arrival...

I don't think Rosario + Vampire (both seasons) ever came out on Blu-ray in Japan. I do know the both series came out on anamorphic Region 2 DVD in Japan back in 2009 and 2010.

Good as those movies were, I had one gripe with them: they were long movies. And that's kind of unusual for anime in Japan, since anime "movies" shown in theaters in Japan tend to be around 65-70...
