Re: The Third Annual May Make-Your-Own Challenge *Discussion Thread* May 1-31, 2012

Has discovered that listening to Jimi Hendrix and Otis Redding at obscene volumes is a perfect way to begin a Saturday! My only complaint about the Shake! Otis at Monterey film is that there's...

Re: The Third Annual May Make-Your-Own Challenge *Discussion Thread* May 1-31, 2012

Watched Ride with the devil yesterday and while I usually love Ang Lee's films, this one just didn't do anything for me. I know Lee was trying to make a personal, local story about the Civil War but...

Re: The Third Annual May Make-Your-Own Challenge *Discussion Thread* May 1-31, 2012

For the B-Movie portion of the challenge I went through last month's list thread for ideas and came up with two films I hadn't seen before: Mad Max and Enter the Dragon. Max wasn't what I was...

Since I only get 11 days to devote to the All Challenges Challenge, I decided to divide each day in half tackle one challenge in the AM and another challenge in the PM. Watching My So-Called Life is...

Re: The Third Annual May Make-Your-Own Challenge *Discussion Thread* May 1-31, 2012

I picked the "All Challenges" challenge because it sounded like fun. The DS9 challenge was chosen because I was going to watch the show anyway.

Re: The Third Annual May Make-Your-Own Challenge *Discussion Thread* May 1-31, 2012

Re: The Third Annual May Make-Your-Own Challenge *Discussion Thread* May 1-31, 2012

Now I'm debating doing the All Challenges Challenge. I just have to figure out what films I'd plug into the B movie section - there seems to be a wide range of films they just aren't films I have...

Re: The Third Annual May Make-Your-Own Challenge *Discussion Thread* May 1-31, 2012

In keeping with my goal of watching the entire Star Trek franchise in 2012, I'll probably try to get through DS9 for this challenge. On the other hand, I might just take a break from Trek but then...
