Well...look on the bright side with Shadow of War......you won't have to do much alone and instead send in your "Kick Booty Orc Army" to handle the dirty work while you mop the floor with some here...

I almost wish they had a SE Edition at around $79 and then a $120 Collectors Edition like you're seeing with other games with maybe a 6" Statue, Maps, gadgets, etc...Sure the Gold does give the two...

I'm still debating on the Standard or Gold Edition.....but at $99 it seems you would get a bit more especially compared to other games with their "Gold or Collector" set. Sure you're getting two...

Yep...I was actually glad Red Dead Redemption 2 got a long delay because I still had this, COD: WWII and Star Wars Battlefront II with all three sort of spread out.....not anymore.

IGN had a opportunity of playing a small portion for 30 minutes and decent write up about what they thought of and the gameplay...

I'm not sure where your friend got the idea of not being a open world....it even states that the new one "is a open world RPG" in the video above at the beginning. In fact choice wise probably even...

Dual Shockers has a brief story on the game play and the new Nemesis System......it's worth a read explain pretty much what's in the trailer. One thing they did mention was this new Shadows of War...

This will shock the gaming world much like the original did.....

...granted the visuals were not up to par with the current gen, the gameplay made up for it. No telling what the story will be...
