Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

100%. I didn't love it initially, but once it gets going it's a rock solid title.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

I wasn't into it at first but now that all is said and done, It is a very well made title, I agree. I get some of the complaints but overall, it's a shame it had so many technical hang ups on launch.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

I'm caught up to where I was when I played it on PC. The PS5 version is pretty il close in visual fidelity and performance to what I was getting. Seems like there are fewer pedestrians though.

I...

They claim:

Balanced HDR to achieve parity across all platforms.

Which is .. vague

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

Pop the PS4 play disc in your PS5, go to the Playstation Store and download the PS5 Upgrade version of Cyberpunk (it'll be listed as Free in the store).

Done.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

No. Patches replace existing data and assets, there's no point in keeping the old ones around so it purges them instead of wasting space. It's a patch/upgrade, not DLC.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

It was listed in the store as 94gb but was only a 55gb download and is 56gb installed. Seems right.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

The only bugs I've had with the game are visual (disappearing gun or character clipping out once in a while), though I've only played about six hours. My main hang up is it just isn't that...

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

Destroyed might be a little dramatic. They have back-ups of everything and holding source code and HR documents ransom probably has minimal consequences for them in the long run. They're also one of...

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

Bought the PC version for about $30, it strikes me as a pretty decent game so far, runs great at 1080p (ray tracing - ultra) only glitch thus far has been Jackie clipping into a closed elevator near...

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

For better or worse, more and more games are side-mission heavy to give the players more freedom I guess, at least with Cyberpunk it effects the endings you get.

Still a shame the core story is so...

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

Sounds right, the average time for the main story (minimal side missions) is only about 20 hours.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

PC doesn't seem to really count when it comes to "exclusives" with regards to console games. Gears, Forza, Halo, Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn, etc; are still considered exclusives despite being...

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

Was the 3090 expected to run in 8K? They haven't even managed a stable 4k on a lot of games without DLSS cranked up.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

There's a difference between a crash and performance though. Crashes are just poor QA or rushed development.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

Sounds like people came for Witcher in the future and got Saints Row V instead.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (12/10/2020: PS4, XB1, PC)

It was $49 there for launch. Wonder why it's only XBO for the extra $5 off though.
