It's actually not terrible, at least not after that last batch of updates, but it's definitely lacking.
Kinda fun to play in bursts, but nothing to grab you beyond that.

JC4 definitely feels and looks last gen.

I do have to say that, for JC3, it was worth it alone for David Tennant's increasingly unhinged performance as the propaganda announcer.

Yeah, I wish they would've kept it that way - it's the only thing that I liked about JC3, and they got rid of it? It's like one step forward and two steps back with this franchise.

Wait, did they get rid of liberating towns/areas on your own? And I've read that installations that you've destroyed end up respawning. That's some bullshit - even with it's faults, what I liked...

That's good to hear! Other forums have people saying that not only has the patch not done anything noticeable outside of the motion-blur, but that it's made the game look even worse... which I find...

Seems like all the issues with JC4 (aliasing, textures, etc) are fairly easy to patch and aren't really issues that JC3 had which were problems with the overall design of the game and it's world...

Word is that the graphics/textures are ROUGH, like, worse than JC2 graphics - like, they had to make a tone of graphical compromises on consoles in order to get it to run a solid 30fps.

And FWIW, the same development team behind JC3 did this one. The creators of JC2 are working on Rage 2.

Yeah, add me to the list of those who loved JC2, but being completely disappointed with JC3 - I even finished it, playing only in hopes of it getting better somehow - it never did.
