I re-made my character after the most recent changes - she looks a lot better, but there are still some instances during cutscenes and conversations where her facial animations look weird, though not...

Early word is that the game is overwhelming.

I'm normally fine with that, but I'm already sitting on top of 3 "overwhelming" games that I've barely made a dent in.

That's good to hear.

As much as liked that last ME games, cliff-hangers in videogames you spend $60 on and have to wait 2 years for a resolution to are the pits!

Not really. MA1 (I'm comparing it to DA3), had way less areas, and what they had were way smaller and far more linear than anything in DA.

I wish it would be more like Dragon Age, with the size of the game and the more open-range locations, but with 3rd person shooting when running into enemies.
