Yeah, I don't recall nets or fishing rods breaking. Axes broke but the golden version didn't, unlike in NH.

I agree. The game is a chore simulator to begin with. I hate having to keep up with materials to craft new sets of tools 2 or 3 times a day. And to add to it, every tool requires two crafts.

Also don't forget to check out the cabinet in the shop for new walls/floors each day. Those rotate like the items for sale on the floor.

How many pieces of fence do you get per craft? Is it one little section for each or do you get a bunch (like the 50 Nook gives you to start)?

They do that before they run at you. The way to get them is to wait till they raise their legs, take a few steps closer till they do it again, and repeat. They'll never move if you do it right.

Yeah, tarantulas are 8k even in the old games. That's why some times islands you visit will be full of them.

I don't think trees regrow from stumps. Keep it as is for bugs to land on or dig it up to remove completely. You can buy new tree seedlings to plant.
