No! Keep trying...you'll get it. Watch some YouTube videos if you have to. In this game I don't necessarily consider that cheating since you still have to do the work yourself.

Best way to counter that with this game is explore the map. What's nice is they detail what all the different doors are. So if you see a large part of the map unexplored behind a door you can open...

Haven't gotten that far yet but usually they're pretty good with their level design and have a save point and energy refill area before a big boss.

I think the story was a bit better and had more depth then Zero Mission but the gameplay and level design of Zero Mission had Fusion beat IMHO. Fusion was much more linear and slower paced.

Yeah I'm not too worried about getting the game itself. Even the Amiibo I think can score at some point. But the special editions are almost always difficult to get now.
