I finally bought a VR gaming headset. (I do have an old Oculus Go). The Meta Quest 2 was $200 with a $50 Meta GC. I figured $150 is a pretty good entry point. See if I really use it much. Hopefully...

I just got an Oculus Go and was wondering the same thing. They look like 8 bit graphics they're so bad.

Like this video looks fine on the computer screen but terrible in the Oculus Go.

Thanks. That kind of doesn't help :lol: Was hoping the Go might just scratch that itch enough to not spring for the quest.

With Christmas sales approaching I'm wondering if I should get an Oculus Go for $150 to dip my toe in VR/3D media consumption or would that be a waste and I should just put it towards an Oculus...

I not an expert at all at any of the VR choices but my opinion is that the Quest if more "future proof" in that you'll always want a cable free VR system. Even if it is just to consume media it will...
