Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

I agree with both, but one person not buying it doesn't change much. If people complaining opens other people's eyes, and that causes them not to buy it, that's when companies may start to notice....

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

You people forget the explosion of the market. They have a MUCH larger customer base now than in the SNES days. This is NOT to cover costs, or else the gaming companies wouldn't be making record...

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

This nonsense about devaluing games is driving me nuts. Games don’t need to go up in price. Game companies are making more money than ever. Yes, development costs have risen, but they are more than...

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

I personally think both are over-priced. I bought the 3D All-stars release, and now wish I hadn't. It's not that I don't enjoy the games, but I am miffed at the seemingly lack of "Nintendo polish"...

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

I ordered their bundle today. I don't mind the extra cord. It needs that extra cord since you aren't placing it into the stand itself.

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

It's going to be weird not having the Zt-rigger for ducking and long jumps. I remember using the Z-trigger constantly when I played Mario 64 originally. Long-jumping around was basically my default...

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

The FAQ at the end of the video didn't address that properly. It made it sound like a great thing that everyone on the same Switch has the island together, but some people may not like that...

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

Wow, they have really added a lot of great features to this version. The construction changes to the island are fantastic!

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

I think I usually play about 2-3 months of non-stop Animal Crossing every day until I burn out, and I look forward to doing the same this time around as well.

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

Warioware and Mario Sunshine would be fantastic. I've been itching to play Sunshine again.

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

I tried it last night, and I made it through the first 2 levels. I was surprised at the challenge of some of it. It actually did get me to sweat. The ring has less resistance than I expected, but it...

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

It seems interesting enough for me to give it a buy. I go to the gym regularly, but I have slacked on cardio/abs so maybe this will be a nice little addition for conditioning type workouts.

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

A little of both. I'm going to wait for reviews about how bad the lag is, because this is a game I would like to play online, not just against the CPU.

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

The lag in this game was bad. It easily can swing a match. If this is how Nintendo's online service is going to be, I won't be buying any game that is mostly online. I was going to definitely buy...

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

I think Labo will be a monster hit.

I may pick it up myself because it looks fun. Reviews I have seen have been very positive.

I read that Nintendo expects damage, and even teaches kids how...

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

Definitely recommend Overcooked for 2-4 player fun. Skip it if you only plan on playing single-player.

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

You'll get the hat jump. I found it very awkward at first, but now it's a standard part of my move arsenal. It's one of those moves that seems complicated at first, but quickly becomes second nature....

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

I had issues when first connecting. If you still have issues, don't just put the Switch into sleep mode. You have to actually do a hard reboot. That solved my issues.

So that's why it felt like I was running into an invisible barrier trying to hit a shortcut.

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

Man, I can't remember the last time I cared about achievements. I don't mind them, but do not factor them into my decision making at all about buying a game for one platform over another.

Re: Nintendo Switch: Building a New Generation of Hardware from Scratch

It really shocks me every time. Its sleep to game time is instantaneous.
