Yeah, it is nuts. Really bad time for my 980 to die. It like $300 for a 1060, $400 for a 1070, $500 for a 1070ti, $600+ for a 1080. 3060s are usually at least twice MSRP.

I ended up buying a used EVGA gtx 1070 for $400 locally yesterday. I hate having to over pay, but I like having a computer that doesn't crash whenever I try to play a game.

I have a 980 which is still running well. I got it used, locally, for $200 (before all the bit coin data mining drove up prices). I'll keep it until I can get something like a 1080ti for a few hundred

Steam summer sale started yesterday. I picked up Fallout 4 and The Forest. I'm going to try to play a game that isnt PUBG or Overwatch, haha.

I finally got the monitor I've been wanting: 27" IPS 1440p 165Hz G-Sync. I went with the Acer Predator. Its pretty nice!

I ended up ordering a ASUS 970 today from newegg. it will be around $170 after coupon code and rebate. cant wait to play Overwatch on it. Probably start up WoW again too

my wife's hackintosh needs a graphics card and i'm hoping to either get a 960 for $100 or a 970 for $150-175 eventually.

i remember playing some version of it on an old IBM when i was in computer class in middle school. It wasnt nearly as cool as Ultima, though.

Played some yesterday. So far the only character i've been able to survive with is the robot guy with the hammer. A lot of deaths by snipers. So many characters to try out

If you have the disk space and your iMac meets the requirements for the game, just use boot camp to install windows 7 or 8 on a separate partition. its pretty easy to do

I liked after the cinematic trailer at blizzcon, still no one knew what it was, "its a game right? or a movie?" haha. I'm glad blizzard is going into the team FPS genre
