It costs me and my wife $24 to see a movie in a theater. Add in popcorn and a drink (which I'm doing when I go to a theater...that's part of the whole experience) then we are looking at at least $40...

I’d pay $30+ to see a new movie at home opening weekend. That’s at least what it costs me to see in the theater - the only reason I like going to the theater is seeing new movies.
