Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

Never played Majora either. Came out late in the N64 cycle and I had taken a break from games.

I'll grab it.

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

Except it's not the same handheld. It has two extra buttons and a C Stick. Better CPU, Better battery life, better 3D screen etc. The "new" name is pretty stupid and will just confuse people, but...

Typically every year has a new Nintendo handheld design in some fashion...so yes, they will probably re-design it or modify it in a year.

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

How so? Does Sony or Xbox offer discounts when you opt for Digital over Physical on day one?

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

I'm gonna play some tonight. Not really expecting much from it though. Nice little stop-gap until Mario Golf hits.

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

What do people expect? The previous two games were pretty much the same thing. People have some weird nostalgia for the SNES Version which, IMO, pissed me off as a kid.

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

For some reason, the 2DS screen just looks better. I know it's just one screen and not two, but something about it just looks good.

Sadly, I have a piece of dust under the screen so at some point...

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

I've spent about 20+ hours with my 2DS and Love it. I really can't see myself ever going back to the 3DS or XL. Anyone else really enjoy this little system?

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

Games were less complex, and if there was a bug, it was essentially there forever.

No one is forcing you to use the online store. You can buy games at retail and be happy.

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

Best Zelda. Really great game. Starting Mario and Luigi now. So far it's great but a lot of hand holding.

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

The Bee's get you 50 Rupee's each. So just keep collecting them. There is a patch of weeds by the Cukoo's in town that net you a bee nearly every time. You can get 50 rupee's in like 20...

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

I got the 3 stones and beat the first dungeon. Loving it so far. I've purchased all the weapons so far except the sand rod....the whole rupee's thing is easy to exploit (catch Bees, get 50), and the...

Re: Nintendo Announces 3DS - 3D w/o Glasses!

The time it takes to beat the game scares me a bit. 40ish hours? For a Mario and Luigi game? I have a hard enough time finishing short games as it is (I was pretty proud to beat Pikmin 3).
