Actually I hate these ads more then pop-ups and also G!'s most horrible try at first post ads (sorry boss). And the thread you were thinking about in vgtalk was the "how many band games do we need?" ...

I too have seen this and many times I never give the site a chance when I see these I can't imagine that using these outweighs the drop in traffic because this is such a bad idea.
