They just introduced two subscription plans to Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. Nintendo getting that mobile monetization down pat. Pleasepleaseplease keep it there and don't tie it into the switch.

Right. I love Mario Kart. I love Nintendo. My kids love both. I'll buy their switch games day one for full price. I could probably enjoy this game without buying a thing. But I deleted this game...

Mario Kart Tour is out.

200cc is locked behind a 4.99 monthly subscription (which also gets you more gold or something). This is in addition to gacha. Yeah, I'm out.

DeNA is going to be running things, as they should since they're the experts in the field, so it will no doubt be more of the freemium/pay to win model. They're not porting over any platform games. ...
