I didn't mind the way the first half of the first season of SAO was set up... the time skipping and such I saw as a way to make the storyline less straightforward than constant grinding and leveling...

Finally finished this. That Deus Ex Machina was what I expected given how things were going, but man anime loves it's unresolved love triangles (or squares or pentagons or whatever).

I know his names not really Kirito and he becomes much more outgoing in the game world, but he must be known the world over by that name by now, I'm astonished she didn't...

Haven't watched the last episode yet, but I thought that scenario was pretty unlikely, given her seeming lack of any interest in online gaming, plus...

I've watched too much anime too... I could see all the signs early on, but was hoping it was only sisterly affection. Ugh. How/when did Anime and the Japanese otaku become so obsessed with this...

Ok, just watched 15... Can we get one non-shonen-jump-or-kids anime that doesn't have incest? I know this is adapted from a book series and that's probably in there as well, but geez.

I think it's a lot better than .hack, personally. That was marred somewhat by the whole multimedia aspect of it, and having to tie in the world to the actual (kinda crappy) Namco/Bandai game... it...
