Macross II is almost universally panned but having Haruhiko Mikimoto designs, releasing in English and after a dearth of Macross for so long, I loved it. That opening still triggers something in me....

Man I have such a soft spot for Macross 2 and that original US Renditions release (and also for Animeigo as a whole).

10 bucks on itunes is much cheaper than I would've thought. I would've waited for the physical otherwise but I guess I'll double dip when the time comes.
