I don't mind the variable strike zone - I just wish it was wasn't just randomly done. I've mentioned this before but I'd much prefer it where maybe in the first or second inning they mention...

Well I dumped analog pitching and fielding. The fielding was causing me too many dumb errors like overthrowing the cutoff man on simple tosses back into the infield. The analog pitching is nice, but...

Like others have mentioned, so far I'm using analog pitching and fielding, but old school batting. The fielding has cost me two games so far, unfortunately.

One big downer for me: the load times...

As a FYI, Kmart is having a deal next week where MLB 11: The Show is free if you buy a 160GB PS3 at the same time.


So I'm torn between pre-ordering this and getting the month of MLB.TV for free...

I pray they don't screw this up. Sometimes, in an effort to avoid the "charging $60 for what basically amounts to a roster update" accusation, companies end up changing too much. I don't really care...
