re: The Official Eureka / Masters of Cinema Thread

Thanks for the update. Not many seem to tackle Pasolini's work.

re: [Dead] Deep Discount $5 coupon code

So how come they only have one coupon this time? I admit I've been out of the loop for a while.

Re: Big Lots Part 9 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Hands down the best deal was the Stanley Kramer 6-disc box set for $5 ($4 after 20%off). No other valuable titles were in sight (did not overdo the scouring thing).

Re: Anything worth checking out from Germany/Amazon.de?

Re: DVD Collection Amazon UK: shipping?

Use a Capital One credit card which usually eats the Visa conversion fee, or some other card which gives some sort of rewards that cover said fee.

As for the number of orders, it has been my...

Re: California Dreamin' (Romania)

While it's not as well-developed as California Dreamin', medium-length Marilena From P7 is definitely worth watching. Or if you only have 15 minutes to spare, C Block Story might delight you too....

Re: "Welcome to Paradox" sci-fi box set (R4 only?)

Not the HD forum here, so I thought I'd chime in.
This box set is nowhere to be found. I've watched it in its entirety on YT. Four or five episodes are really good. The rest are just OK, but others...

Re: "Welcome to Paradox" sci-fi box set (R4 only?)

Found a link to ezydvd's listing showing "No longer available".
I'm placing it just for reference.

"Welcome to Paradox" sci-fi box set (R4 only?)

The concept is ho-hum, but the sci-fi stories are classic. It did not survive its first season on Sci-Fi channel.
It was never released anywhere, except, per Wikipedia, in Australia....

re: The Official Eureka / Masters of Cinema Thread

Jeez, even the MOC collection is already past its 100th mark. Even accounting for some of them that I bought and for some which I have a comparable edition for, there's quite a few on the waiting...

re: The Official Eureka / Masters of Cinema Thread

Thanks. I e-mailed them, and the answer was that they shipped it right away, but they will send it again, now that it hasn't arrived.

How fast is the delivery for orders made on their website? I ordered a copy of Gandahar more than a month ago and it hasn't arrived yet (in South Carolina).

Re: Fry's Black Friday Sale

Forgot to add Leone's trilogy on an order (the $220 laptop), and now the shipping kind of kills it (it would have been shipped free). Trying to see whether Amazon is matching that price.

Re: This just in: WalMart Will Pricematch on Black Friday

I like this message, but I don't go to Wal*Mart anyway.
Not even if they price matched online ads. And not on BF.

Re: Hungarian Blu-ray/DVD online store (located in USA) found at Amazon.com!
