Re: Most annoying characters in tv history?

How has this thread gone 47 posts with no mention of Cousin Oliver, Scrappy Doo, or Skyler? You guys are off your game.

I'll add: the guy Parks and Rec added at the end who always yelled. I won't...

Re: Psych: The Movie

Anybody else watch it yet?

I think a 2 hour movie was a bit much, but the 2nd half was my good ol' Psych. Nice that Timothy Omundson was able to make a cameo - gotta love Lassie. Hopefully he'll...

Beck isn't afraid to criticize...

Re: Let's talk True Crime programs

I've become a sucker for these shows thanks to the ID channel (it's a U.S. channel that shows this stuff 24/7). They do a good job with reenactments. My faves:

Forensic Files - Did a great job...

Re: Which decade did Tom Cruise do his best work?

Re: The Official METAL! Thread- Metalcore, Thrash, Progressive, Death, and MORE

Dunno if anyone's interested, but there's an Iron Maiden song-by-song thread going on in the Steve Hoffman Forums. We're about halfway thru the debut album.

Here...

Re: "Should women make their own pop music canon?"

As with all such lists, I have my disagreements. But these are glaring omissions:

No Pat Benatar? No (solo) Joan Jett? No ABBA? No Olivia Newton-John?

I'd also add:
Aimee Mann
Dido
Kacey...

Re: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2018 nominees

Ah, the annual bitchfest about the R&RHOF...autumn has officially arrived!

Seriously, though, that's a pretty darn good list of nominees.

My personal picks:

Radiohead
RATM
The Cars
LL...

re: Tom Petty in critical condition after cardiac arrest [UPDATE: Dead at 66] [Merged]

:rip:

In addition to all the great music, I loved when he showed up (in voice) as Lucky on King of the Hill

Also, "Runnin' Down A Dream" is one of the most fun songs to play on an acoustic...

Re: Ten Days in the Valley (ABC) -- S: Kyra Sedgwick -- Premieres 10/1/17

It'll need to be at least 12 times better than the movie to be worth watching.

(But, yes, I see what you did there :))

Re: The most intense start to a metal album.

Re: RIP Harry Dean Stanton at 91

A great character actor, who always stood out in even small roles. Glad he lived a long life.

Repo man's always intense!

Nice pick! Also, there's a scene where Bill Murray literally needs quick change to get on the bus.
