Re: Question about small TV monitor...

You've likely gotten this by now, but headphone support will depend on how you are connecting the TV to the equipment. With the exception of HDMI, the other common inputs don't carry audio.

Re: LG 55UF8600 TV with dvd-r drop outs thru blu-ray player

You can bypass the splitter (ie: remove it) to rule it out as a problem. Aside from that, sounds like a player issue, not a connectivity issue.

Re: Does anyone have any Warner/New Line snapcase DVDs?

That's the kind of feedback you get for starting three topics with the same question.

Re: What Warner or New Line DVDs have the Warner Home Video/New Line Home Video catal

Most people throw that garbage away. Why do you need something that has no value and is not relevant to the movie?

Re: Does the BD Player Have to Decode Dolby TrueHD & DTS-HD MA If My Receiver Does?

I haven't switched to Blu yet (hoping next spring to remodel the basement and upgrade), but I will attest to Oppo quality. I'm still using my Oppo DVD (forget the model #) that I bought in 2001, and...

re: Star Wars

Still haven't gotten these movies on Blu, and I usually just blindly choose something on sale. But which set or individual discs does everyone recommend?

Re: Do You like slim or bulky packaging?

I prefer the normal cases so that I can see the spines better.

I do have quite a few thin cases stashed away if I need to save space in the future.

Re: Has anyone seen all of these horror movies?

I've seen two of them, and a couple of others sound familiar. I'd likely rent, stream, or DVR them. I'm a horror fan myself, and most horror is average at best. I don't know that I'd spend a lot...

Re: Warner no longer releasing Unrated DVDs...?

Sure, but do they really care for a direct to video release?

We don't even know what was cut, much less why. Everyone is debating some policy change (which doesn't appear to be valid based on...

Re: Heroes - Henry Winkler Song Replaced?

That's the movie where Henry Winkler races the car on the dirt track right? I saw it way back in the day on cable I think, and remember it being a decent movie. But all I really remember is the...

Re: Terminator: Genisys -- November 10, 2015

Last I read, it's been shelved. US sales were too low to warrant another movie.

Re: Warner no longer releasing Unrated DVDs...?

It's highly likely he was contracted to produce an "R" rated movie, thus the cuts. Only time will tell if there will be an alternate version made available. Many movies don't get multiple releases....

Re: 7 Disc Cases in 14mm

I don't see how 7 would fit in a 14mm pack with trays. The 6 Disc cases that I have barely close.

Re: Have you ever bought a movie on DVD instead of Blu-ray because of the packaging?

And there are lots of people with your opinion. It just doesn't even matter to me. I don't even see my collection unless I go to get a movie to watch. It's not out in the open like some sort of...

Re: Have you ever bought a movie on DVD instead of Blu-ray because of the packaging?

I will add that I have bought a few things with special packaging. But difference in price for the regular or special packaging wasn't much. And I was primarily interested in the movies themselves....

Re: PlayLater - pure awesomeness.

Just for clarification, you can get PlayOn and PlayLater for 49.99 + $10 for HD = $59.99 for a lifetime license. I think the apps individually were $29.99.

I've messed with it a bit so far. ...

Re: Bond Ultimate Edition Box Sets - DVD Rot

I just had all of mine out a couple of months ago as I ripped them to my media server. No issues with any of the discs.
