sony is an old receiver, 5.1 maybe... not sure... it's my friends and he said it works but he thinks the surround sound cuts out some times... i'll only be using it for the two front channels anyway...

i own a townhome and it's a general rule of thumb I follow that if I am watching a movie after about 8:30pm i turn the sub waaay down.... same goes for music.

during the day they usually aren't...
