Re: Thor: Love and Thunder (Waititi, 2022) — The Spoiler Filled Reviews Thread

Haven't seen this mentioned yet in this thread, so I'd be curious what you guys think....I took the movie to be told by Korg which is why it was so over the top. After the opening intro of Gor, Korg...

Re: TV shows within TV shows

If you really want to go down a rabbit hole on this subject, try this site: https://nestflix.fun/
It's a site made to look like Netflix, but all just show within show references.

Re: The Nevers (HBO) -- created by Joss Whedon -- premieres 4/11/21

Just watched the final episode last night myself and I think you are pretty much on target with what you recapped in your spoiler tag. For the most part, that's what I got out of the episode as well....

Re: Brooklyn Nine-Nine (FOX) -- Season 4 Thread -- premieres 9/20/16

I though the premiere was great, even without the rest of the cast. Andre Braugher was hilarious, as usual!

Re: 9/22/04 - Oceanic Flight 815 - Never Forget

We just recently started watching the series on blu-ray with our two kids, 11 and 13. I love the show so much so it is so nice to be able to watch it again with them.

Our 13 year old son...

Re: The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (premieres Sept. 8, 2015)

Holy crap, that was fantastic! I can't believe I watched the whole 41 minutes, but I just couldn't stop!

re: Archer: Vice (FX) - Season 5 Thread - Mondays

I actually found the joke funnier when Lana giggled about it. Lana is really not much better than Archer in terms of redeeming qualities, so that's why I found it funny. As high and mighty as she...

re: Archer: Vice (FX) - Season 5 Thread - Mondays

The promo shot above and the Archer Vice montage made we wish for a Grand Theft Auto game with these characters and storylines. That would be a ton of fun to play.

The episode definitely flew by...

re: The Goldbergs (ABC) - Season 1 Thread - Starring Jeff Garlin

I really enjoy this show. I had the same reaction to the GI Joe carrier. Saw the box first and then saw it on the table. That thing was ginormous. I had a friend who had just about everything...

Re: The Walking Dead -- "Live Bait" -- 11/17/13

This is what I was thinking early in the episode. That he ends up taking the little girl and the two women (if they survive) to the prison to be taken in and that's what he is there for when we saw...

Re: Modern Family - "A Fair to Remember" - 11/13/13

I still love this show. Even when there is a week that I don't find much funny in the episode, there's one like this week to follow it up. I thought there were a lot of funny under-the-breath kind...

re: New Girl (FOX) -- Season 3 Thread -- premieres 9/17/13

Enjoyed the episode and I like that they're giving Winston stuff to do in episodes since the last part of last season. He's had some good lines lately. The puzzle stuff and color blindness was...

Re: The Following -- Season Finale -- "The Final Chapter" -- 4/29/13

I think the whole point of having the final fight in a boathouse was to have an out for Joe to survive. I believe it will be revealed that he dropped through the floor into the water, thus surviving...

Re: Person of Interest - "Proteus" - 03/07/2013

I agree with you and a couple others who saw the same subtle things. Finch was darker and more confident when dealing with the killer alone. The killer took out his contacts and then tried on...

Re: The Amazing Race 22 -- "Business in the Front, Party in the Back" -- 2/17/13

I was unimpressed by most of the teams. I can't remember a season where I've disliked more of them after first introductions. We watch the show now with our 8 and 10 year old and sometimes I'm...

Re: Raising Hope -- "Modern Wedding/Yo Zappa Do, Part 1" -- 1/29/13

They were two half hour shows.

I thought the wedding one was one the best of the series. The second was OK, but maybe I was being jaded by the quality of the first. :)

Burt continues to be...

Re: Parenthood -- "One Step Forward, Two Steps Back" -- 1/15/13

I enjoyed the episode, but missed Adam as well.

It's strange to see Crosby right so often, but nice to see him continue to grow up and do more right. I liked the scene with him and Julia outside...

Re: Raising Hope -- "Credit Where Credit is Due" -- 1/08/13

That was good.

I enjoyed Lloyd's gasp into the camera a la BttF.

Loved the gullwing front door that Burt installed.

Re: Modern Family -- "New Year's Eve" -- 1/09/13

Manny was great in this one.

This is such a funny show and packed with little under the breath type of lines. I...

Re: Parenthood -- "Keep on Rowing" -- 1/01/13

Re: New Girl -- "Bathtub" -- 12/04/12

Re: Raising Hope -- "The Last Christmas" -- 12/11/12

Re: The Big Bang Theory -- "The Parking Spot Escalation" -- 11/29/12

"The tow truck driver scratched my car."
"Oh, the tow truck driver did not scratch your car."
"How would you know?"
"Because I DID IT!!!!"

Good stuff.

Re: Modern Family -- "When a Tree Falls" -- 11/28/12

Even the less than excellent episodes are good, so I'm not complaining. Still plenty of funny moments for me. Maybe it was my mood, but thought Cam in the cats costume in the tree,...

Re: The Simpsons -- "A Tree Grows In Springfield" -- 11/25/12

They did a short filler at the end of an episode last season (IIRC) and it seemed just as out of place as this one. I still enjoy the show after so many years, but they are definitely at the bottom...
